The Metropole Hotel (Xincheng fandian) is located in the city centre, only afive minute walk from the Bund and 18km from Hongqiao Airport and 5km from the railwaystation. Guests can take the bus to Pudong New Airport from directly in front of thehotel.
This is a fairly unique spot, and the hotel retains a little of its art deco splendour, with a great location. The 145 rooms are all tastefully decorated and have standardamenities and facilities for comfort and convenience. Some rooms offer views of the PudongOriental TV tower.
