In the south eastern of China, on the banks of the river Oujiang, it is located the city of Wenzhou (over 9 million people), in Zhejiang Province. Wenzhou has been listed in the 10 most dynamic cities in China from the economic point of view. It has a rich industrial production and commercial facilities very efficient. The people of Wenzhou (and province) have a natural talent for business and today are present in many countries of the world (especially in France and Italy). The city offers many opportunities for business, because the large number of factories producing textiles, medicines, paper, plastics, ceramics and more. Important attractions of Wenzhou are the Baizhangji & Feiyun Lake Scenic Area, listed as a National Key Scenic Area; the Nanxi River Scenic Area, the only national overview area characterized by the rural landscape of China; Wuyanling National Nature Reserve (200 square kilometers), a national level nature reserve in the prefecture of Wenzhou; the Yandand Mountain, one of the top ten list must-see mountains in China and appointed as Geopark by UNESCO in 2005. |
