Dali: brief description for tourists who wish to visit Dali
Dali is located in the southwest of China, in the Yunnan Province, 300 km northwest of Kunming (the Yunnan capital). Dali is the center of the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and has a population of about 590,000 people. Dali is expression of Bai culture, the race Bai was established here about 4000 years ago. The city of Dali is a communications center and the collection and distribution of products of western Yunnan. The picturesque historic sites of Dali and the rich ethnic Bai traditions make the city a very interesting place. The main scenic areas of Dali are Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The main attraction in Dali is the mountain Jizhu in Binchu, considered one of the five sacred mountains in China.
The clock in the mountain caves of stone, is the main attraction of the mountain to Jianchuan Shibao. The Stone Mountain Clock caves are scattered between the temple of stone clock, the pace of the lion and Shadengqing. The weather in Dali is a plateau monsoon climate at low latitudes and it is known as a favorite tourist destination in all year.
