THE MAIN TRADE FAIR IN CHINA
The Canton Fair is held continuously since 1957 and is undoubtedly the most important trade fair in China, with numbers of exhibitors, presences and sales superior than any other Fair. In the next edition will be put on display more than 120,000 types of products, representing production and trade of Chinese international companies. The fair provided an exhibition space of over 1,330,000 square meters. In the next Edition there will be more than 58,000 booths (3-by-3-square-meter), all in conformity to international standards. What matters more to foreign operators is that at this fair are taking part 48 trading delegations representing more than 30,000 Chinese companies, ie the part most vital, healthy and productive of China's trade and production system. The Fair is overall very efficient thanks to the wide use of Internet technology. For the booths of exhibitors, for the handling of applications, for information exchange and inquiries in general it is always available a well organized web system.

THREE PHASES
The commonly used name for this show is "Canton Fair ", but the official name is "111th China Import and Export Fair2, and it is also called the" Chinese Export Commodities Fair China". Sometimes in the news it is also called "Guangzhou Fair". The Canton Fair is repeated twice a year, in spring and autumn. The next 2012 edition (the 111th) will be held in three sessions of five days each. Phase 1 from 15 to 19 April, Phase 2 from 23 to 27 April, phase 3 from 1 to 5 May.
The Phase 1 focuses on Electronics & Household Electrical Appliances, Lighting Equipment, Vehicles & Spare Parts, Machinery, Hardware & Tools, Building Materials, Chemical Products, International Pavilion. The Phase 2 focuses on Consumer Goods, Gifts, Home Decorations. The Phase 3 focuses on Textiles & Garments, Shoes, Office Supplies, Cases & Bags, and Recreation Products, Medicines, Medical Devices and Health Products, Food, International Pavilion.

MEETING PLACE FOR BUSINESSMAN OF THE WORLD
Beside the traditional system of negotiating (by specimens), the Canton Fair has organized also a modern Online Fair. The Fair aims at the development of export trade, but at this Fair there are dealed and conclused also many profitable transactions of import business. Through this system are carried out various activities such as cooperation and exchange of technical and economic information, commodity inspection, transportation, insurance, advertising, consultation and many other activities related to fair context.
