In the south of China, in Guandong Province, is situated Shenzhen, on the eastern shores of the Pearl River Delta just north of Hong Kong. The strategic position and economic reform (has become China's first Special Economic Zones from 1979) has allowed a great economic growth. Shenzhen is a modern and famous city and has a population af about 14 million people. Shenzhen is also an important tourist destination, stimulated by a full calendar of events, exhibitions and fairs.
