The Taishan Hotel is one of the best places to stay in town. This five storey hotel isconveniently located at the entrance to the main Taishan trail on Hongmen Road. To the south is the Dai Temple and to the north is a stone archway that Confucius reportedly oncepassed through. This three star hotel was built in 1980 and now has now has 110 well-equipped rooms and11 dining halls. The hotel restaurants are well known for their exquisite Beancurd Banquet! Other facilities include a gym, health clinic, souvenir shops and a ticket office. TheBank of China is also nearby.
