Jieyang is now becoming one of the new tour cities with its lively and special characteristics of the zone. The city is in the east of Guangdong Province, which faces the sea,backs on to mountains. Jieyang has an area of over 5000Km2, a history of around 5000 years civilization and under the organizational system over 2000 years. The Central Plain(place near Yellow River of China) Culture had flown to his ancient city dating back to Qin and Han Dynasties, and then has flown to the boundless expanse of eastern Guangdong Province and southwestern Fujian Province In 1991, a propitious year, the old county Jieyang was upgraded as a city consisted of three counties named Jiexi, Jiedong and Huilai as well as one district named Rongcheng. It also in charge of Puning City. Since then, the city is surged with unprecedented creating passion with the three rivers, Rong River, Lian River and Long River flowing through.
