Foshan is famous for its precious ancient porcelain production (during the Tang Dynasty), which were produced by the Nanfeng Kiln (which is still one of the attractions of the city).

Foshan ancestral temple
Foshan ancestral temple or the Foshan Zu Miao is situated in the city itself. The founder of smelting industry, who was a local was honored here, and later was used to worship Pak Thai, who is a Taoist God. In fact, the temple was re-built during the Hongwu Emperor s rule in the fifth year in the Ming dynstry as it was burnt in the Yuan dynasty rule. It is a beautiful and attractive temple that has a very ancient history and culture. It is now renamed and called as the Ancestral temple due to its history. The temple in itself is a beauty and has great work on it. The decor and the architecture are all refined and remarkably beautiful.

Sanshui Lotus world
The Sanshui lotus world is a park that is situated on an area of 80 hectors and has 53 hectors is all water surrounding it. It consists of around 300 species of only lotus, which are very beautiful and unique. The amazing thing is that it also has a variety that was cultivated in space and also an ancient lotus that was unearthed in the Liaoning Province. The place is worth visiting as it has the advanced cultivating technology and is also recognized as an ecotourism center comprising of entertainment, research, food, performances and exhibition of the variety of lotus here.

Xiqiao Mountain
The Xiqiao Mountain was a volcano mountain, which is now cold and silent and is situated in southern Nanhia district. This is a very beautiful scenic spot that has 72 cragged peaks, lakes that are as scenic and beautiful as they can be and are of various sizes, deep pools that has greenery all around it and make one great picnic spot and also has waterfalls that are cascading all the year round to enchant the tourists. The place is famous for the thick forest and great water resources and is a great reservoir of china.

Liang garden
The place was built as a private garden over a span of 40 years during emperors Daoguang and Jiaqiang who belonged to the Qing dynasty. It comprises of beautiful 12 stone house, Fenjiang thatched cottage and Qunxing thatched cottage along with the Hanxiang house and more. The garden is considered as one of the four best gardens of the Guangdong province.

Nanfeng ancient Kiln
The Nanfeng ancient Kiln is in Shiwan town and is also famous for its earthenware that has been making ceramics of 5,000 years. It is built on an area of 250 hectares and is a great place that combines sightseeing, skill learning, shopping, production and many more activities that the tourists will love.
