HongKong: brief description for tourists who wish to visit HongKong
Hong Kong, is one of the two special amministrative region of China, the other one is Macau. Hong Kong has a population of over 7,1 million people. It is famous as one of the most important city for business and as commercial-financial center. Hong Kong was a British colony from 1842 and returned to China since 1999, maintaining an independence administrative and its own currency, the Hong Kong dollar. Nowadays Hong Kong is one of major business center in Asia and a great commercial and financial place.
About 25 million visitors a year have made Hong Kong also one the major tourist destinations in Asia. Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the top attractions in the city. The Ocean Park is one of the largest in the world, covering an area of about 170 hectares. The Victoria Peak, is the best place to see the beautiful lights of the Oriental Pearl. Here you can also visit the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum, with a lot of celebrity figures including the famous Jackie Chan. Other attractions: Wong Tai Sin Temple, Man Mo Temple, Po Lin Monastery. The nightlife in Hong Kong is very lively, during the night a lot of shopping mall, market, pubs, bar, restaurant, are always open.
